I bought several pairs of swim shoes the last year and these are the winners. They are a snug fit at first, but they have lasted almost a year and are still in excellent shape with good good fit. Best of all, there is no loosening of any pesky foot bed liners - everything is intact and in place after a year of use several times a week. For me this was important because I find a lot of the other shoes have foot bed liners that come unglued or loose and then they can scrunch up under your feet, causing discomfort or a need to stop the workout. This does not happen with these - my feet are happy the entire time I am using them -- and again, they last even with regular use. I expect I'll get at least another year out of these - and for the price, that's a win! Oh - and I loved the pink color option!Seriously, these are amazing! I can not believe how well they work!! I bought these for two vacations last year (planned prepandemic but resecheduled out of our control for the same year!! DOH!!) to tropical destinations. They are cute- exactly like the picture- brightly colored and super comfortable! I mean really comfortable, no breaking-in required. I walked in rocked beaches, sandy beaches, sharp, jagged ocean shallows, and a pool that had a textured bottom that was rough on bare feet-these shoes protected my feet beautifully every time AND the sand (and water) just flows right out of them! I tried to Wade/swim/float in the rocky shallow in Cozumel at a beach club (not to worry, they netted off the coral reef and kept people out so the reef didn’t get trampled) in my bare feet and the rocks were cutting up my tender feet like razors- I was also having trouble maintaining my footing. Once I put the shoes on, it was suddenly enjoyable- not hurty hurty, ouchy ouchy anymore and grip so that I could safely Wade on the jagged, uneven rocks. It made a huge difference- now I could focus on watching the colorful fish swim around the rocks through the crystal clear blue water instead of focusing on pain and treacherous footing. I also NEVER once felt sand in my shoes despite long walks on the beach (yes, we really did that, it’s not just something people say in dating profiles!). I couldn’t believe how comfortable they kept my feet. I’ll never walk on the beach in any other shoes ever again. Bonus- the hot sand/rocks didn’t burn my feet. They are so good that my bf bought a pair in the same color- yay for unisex design! I may need to buy more pairs of these for future use and for my daughter so that they don’t discontinue them and leave me hanging without the nest beach shoes I’ve owned in 50+ years.I know I sound too excited and like I’m overselling them but I really am shocked how awesome they performed. I don’t know what magical design allows the sand and water to escape so efficiently that it keeps your feet perfectly comfortable.I would make this purchase again. They were easy to put on and takeoff and they were comfortable and I was able to walk up and down the boardwalk in them. I recommend these water shoes.I bought these for my husband for water activities but he actually wears them as regular shoes alot of the time. He says they're a little tight on his ankles but he still likes themI didn’t keep them because they run a little small and didn’t fit but super cute and comfy. I planned to use them for River walking and not sure on the longevity of them so I didn’t order a bigger size.Shoes fit fine. They were slippery on the tile swimming pool bottom.poor supportGot a pair in my usual size, fit perfectly, but I wanted a bit more room for the toes so I gave them to my son (age 9) and ordered another pair in the next size up. Took them on our trip to Oregon for some light hiking and wore them for the whole flight there and back (2 travel days, 4 flights total) and they were very comfy the whole time. He now uses his pair for PE in school and loves that they’re slip on. I use mines for daily walks around the park. We’ve used them in the water once, help up nicely.
