These shoes were purchased for use in the pool during aqua zumba. They cushioned my feet and fit well...I wear an 8.5 and bought a size 39. I did experience some slipping on the pool floor when first worn. Scuffing up the soles some before using might have helped.Just recently started doing water aerobics and the instructor recommended I get pool shoes for added support. These are great. They are just a little bit big but that's ok.I like the way they fit, as for longevity, we"ll see...These shoes are they best. They fit great. And I get compliments everytime I wear them.Got these for the wife. She loves them for PWC riding.The selection of colors.I bought these for a river float trip and they were perfect! They fit comfortably, not too tight and not lose. Slip on and off were a breeze. I am not sure if they would keep the sand out at a beach, but they were perfect for what I use them for.Very comfortable
